This method uses a graduated series of as little as 10 comfortable, clear plastic aligners to gently move teeth with low pressure, according to a precise plan designed by us. The aligners are worn day and night except when eating and brushing your teeth. They are unobtrusive. Others will not even know you are straightening your teeth, while you talk and smile naturally.
The aligners can be removed for eating, brushing, and flossing, allowing you to maintain excellent oral hygiene. Depending on your situation, you could have results in as little as six months. However, it is important for patients to understand that compliance with treatment is crucial to achieving these results without added costs or fabrication of more trays. Patients should wear the trays as directed to ensure they get the smile of their dreams!

During your initial consultation, we will assess if you are an Invisalign candidate. If you are, we will take a 3D digital scan of your mouth and your case will then be sent to the Invisalign lab. Using computer imagery, the lab creates your custom aligners.
In about three weeks, we will fit your first set of trays and send you home with easy instructions for using the subsequent sets of aligners. At periodic return visits, generally every 6 weeks, we will monitor your progress using ClinCheck® computer technology. ClinCheck shows, with 3-D accuracy, the movement resulting from each stage of this controlled, carefully-timed force on your teeth.

Dr. Thomas Rolfes earned his undergraduate degree in biology at Loyola Marymount University, then studied at Georgetown University where he received his DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery). He has earned the prestigious fellowship award with the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Rolfes has been providing dental care at this Costa Mesa location since 1984. He enjoys practicing dentistry as well as participating in several dental study groups, our local dental society and lecturing. Dr. Rolfes is licensed to provide IV and oral sedation.
CREDENTIALS AND MEMBERSHIPS
Dr. Christina Do is a graduate of Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. She is a native Californian, born and raised in the “OC”. Throughout her dental career, she has had the honor of practicing with some of the world’s leading laser professionals. This experience has enabled her to share her knowledge through various venues. Her perseverance in mastering dental laser technology gives her the opportunity to lecture worldwide to other dentists on the applications of laser dentistry. She is a lecturer and researcher for the leading dental laser company, Biolase. She is also on the executive board of the Coleman Research Group, which connects medical investors with experts in the field of dentistry. She is an editor for the Journal of Laser Assisted Dentistry as well.
Dentistry has been Dr. Do’s passion since her college days at UCSD. She was inspired by a homeless woman who expressed her desire to take care of her teeth. From that point onward, Dr. Do knew that she had a calling to perform dentistry for the underprivileged in her community and for citizens of other countries with little or no access to modern dental care. Since 2000, she has served in various countries such as Mexico, Peru, Bolivia, Guatemala, Honduras, Papua New Guinea, and Haiti.
Dr. Do has been featured in the California Dental Association newsletter for her animated children’s educational DVD. Her Toothtales DVD has received numerous accolades, including first place for ‘People’s Choice’. The dental series now has three episodes. Dr. Do has been featured several times on the Emmy Award-winning show The Doctors, performing various dental procedures. Currently, she has three dental commercials on air and hopes to continue to reach out to the community through various media. She has also published many journal articles and been featured in multiple dental magazines. Currently, she serves as president-elect for the Orange County Dental Association. Dr. Do is an active member of the ADA, CDA, OCDS, WCLI, and AAPD.
Dr. Do practices in Costa Mesa and has been at her current practice for the past 15 years. She is a general dentist who treats patients of all ages. Her focus is laser dentistry, the technology that has helped transform many high-anxiety patients.
In her spare time, Dr. Do enjoys spending time with family and friends, biking, traveling, and arts and crafts. She has been married to a fellow Loma Lindan dentist since 2016, and they have a handsome little boy. She tops off her life’s joy by chasing this toddler, who is a lover of life and a hugger of all people.
Tim Rolfes earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at the University of Southern California in 2012. After spending the next year working as a full time intern at Smiles4OC, Tim returned to the University of Southern California’s Ostrow School of Dentistry where he earned his DDS degree (Doctor of Dental Surgery). During his four years at USC Dental, Tim found a passion in community dentistry. He had the opportunity to volunteer and provide dental care to underserved communities in the Philippines, Belize, and Cambodia through the Dental Humanitarian Outreach Program. He is also a core member of the USC Mobile Clinic, which provides dentistry to rural communities with limited or no access to dental care, throughout all of California. He regularly volunteers at the JWCH Institute and provides dental care to the predominantly homeless population on Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles. Tim has now joined the Smiles4OC team as a licensed dentist and is excited to be practicing full time and furthering his passion for dentistry.

Dr. Ori Levy is a highly trained periodontist dedicated to providing advanced periodontal and implant care with a focus on precision, comfort, and long-term oral health. With over two decades of clinical experience, Dr. Levy brings a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to treating gum disease, restoring oral health, and helping patients achieve strong, healthy smiles.
Dr. Levy earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and completed his Residency in Periodontics at the Greater Los Angeles Veterans Affairs Healthcare System in 2008, where he received advanced training in periodontal surgery, dental implant placement, and complex gum treatments.
